View Polls on Frontend, Delete Individual Vote Responses
We’ve added some useful new enhancements to the Pollify Free version to improve usability, control, and accuracy. These updates make it easier to manage poll responses, quickly preview polls on the frontend from dashboard list, and get more accurate IP-based tracking.
Below is a breakdown of each enhancement and how to use it.
Delete Individual Vote Responses #
You can now delete individual vote entries from a poll. This is useful for:
- Removing test votes during setup
- Cleaning up spam or duplicate entries
- Resetting specific poll data
How to Use: #
- Go to Pollify > All Polls
- Hover over any poll and click “Vote/Responses”
- You’ll see a table of all vote responses
- Click the Delete icon next to any individual vote entry
This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Be careful when deleting live data.
View Poll on Frontend (New Button) #
To save you time, we’ve added a quick access button that lets you view the published version of any poll directly from the admin dashboard. No need to go to the posts or pages to finally check the poll. Just click on any vote or feedback from the list and you will see which poll/voting you got a feedback or reply for.
How to Use: #
- Navigate to Pollify > All Polls
- For any poll, you’ll now see a “View on frontend” button at the right top
- Click it to instantly open the frontend post/page where the poll is embedded
This button is also available from the poll edit screen and sub-menu items- making it super quick to check your poll layout and behavior after edits.
Improved IP Lookup Accuracy #
We’ve replaced the old IP lookup service with a more accurate and reliable one. This change improves how Pollify handles:
- Duplicate vote detection
- Anonymous voting limits
- Analytics reporting
What You Need to Do: #
Nothing, this change is applied automatically in the background.
Your polls will now detect voter IPs more precisely, especially in regions where the previous service was less accurate.
